ABOUT US

Having both grown up with dogs it was only natural that our family included a dog. We were lucky enough to share 11 years of our lives with our GSD bitch, Brynn and when we lost her it devastated us both. After a few months we realised that home was not a home without a dog and we found Shaney at ARAS rescue in Bedford.

As with a lot of rescue dogs Shaney had her fair share of issues and to help understand these we studied and now both hold diplomas (with distinction) in Canine Psychology and Training. We then went on to study the Dog listening method and achieved our "Certificate of Advanced Canine Communication" As a result Shaney is a much more relaxed dog than she was and we continue to make progress with her.

After working as independent Dog Listeners for two years we then joined an organisation called Pure Dog Listeners, which is a group of like minded people, who like us are experienced trained Dog Listeners from around the world. We are able to discuss behavioural issues and share ideas and keep up to date with developments within the dog world. A link to the Pure Dog Listeners website can be found on the "Links" page.

In December 2007 we adopted another rescue dog Casper, a GSD/Collie X, who is now so laid back he quite literally is horizontal most of the time. We then added Carly, a GSD/Husky X to our pack in December 2008 through Every Chance Rescue, she had suffered some severe trauma through a road traffic accident and due to the extent of her injuries had lost all trust in humans, through advocating the methods that we teach she has become a more confident and sociable dog.

These three fantastic dogs have just reinforced our love for this noble friend and has fuelled our desire to give every dog a happy home and it is to this end that we have been working closely with the RSPCA to help give dogs another chance in life, our company "Completely K9" was born.
