Hello, we are Nicky & Simon Bates, proud owners of Completely K9 Ltd.
We’ve both had a passion for dogs from early childhood and only seemed right that when we became a family, our family should include a furry companion.
Brynn was our first puppy together, we were fortunate to have 10 amazing years, losing her was devastating but rescuing Shaney in 2006 proved to be a defining moment. Shaney came with many issues and to further understand and help her we decided to educate ourselves in dog behaviour, psychology and dog training, this led to qualifications in this field. Understanding and enjoying the results we had with Shaney sowed a seed and cemented an idea that we both really wanted to work with dogs.

In 2008 our dream was realised when we opened the doors of the 1st purpose built dog daycare in Leicestershire. Completely K9 was born.

Having the daycare has allowed us the opportunity to pursue our passion for rescuing dogs and be involved with several breed specific husky rescues, we now have 4 dogs of our own who share our love of doggy daycare especially all that space to run around in.

I met Nicky and Simon in 2010, when we were looking for somewhere suitable for our very own Charlie Chuckles to go to during the day.
During these many years, I have been glad to help out on the odd occasion, and more recently given the utmost honour of being offered the position of Dog Daycare Assistant.
I feel so much love for all the dogs that come to us, I never realised it would be like this, we have so much fun. I love my job and know I’m very lucky.

I have always wanted to work with dogs since I was very young, having grown up around many different dog breeds and loving them all. Working as a Day Care Assistant at Completley K9 has confirmed that I am happiest around dogs! It’s very rewarding to see dogs progress in day care, they are all such a pleasure to care for and I have learnt so much from being here. I am always looking forward to coming into work and seeing all my doggy pals really makes my day. It truly is the best job ever!

I met Nicky & Simon through a dog walking group almost 4 years ago and was intrigued at the thought of a doggy daycare. I came to help out for a few sessions and discovered how much enjoyed my time there with the dogs. So with my DIY skills I help to create new and fun ways for the dogs to enjoy spending their days with us.

Being around dogs has always been my favourite place to be. Our dog came to Completely K9 from a puppy and he loves it here. I since became a dog trainer and love working with owners and dogs alike to bring out the best in their personalities. Getting to know all of the individual dogs at daycare is so fulfilling and they are an absolute joy to be around and care for.

Hi I’m Eve and this is my golden retriever Eddie! I have been working at Completely K9 daycare on and off for a few years now and absolutely love it! Seeing all the happy doggy faces and having a fun packed day working with an amazing team is more than I could ask for (despite inclement weather!)
